I was the first one up this morning in my apartment so after Trevor parted to go home, I enjoyed the peace and quiet in the living room with the cats and my laptop but when the I was done with quiet time, I still wanted gentle music to go with the calm Sunday morning. That's when I realized acoustic music hits the spot on Sunday mornings so here's my list of the songs you should enjoy on a lovely Sunday morning with your coffee and cat friend.
1. All Too Well (Acoustic) by Taylor Swift
2. Boyfriend (Acoustic Version) by Justin Bieber
3. Valerie (Acoustic Audio) by Amy Winehouse
4. Back Home (Acoustic) by Andy Grammer
5. Then (Acoustic) by Brad Paisley
6. Haunted (Acoustic) by Taylor Swift
Also check out Country Roads (Remix) by John Denver and Pretty Lights (not acoustic but I'm obsessed currently).

Five Friday Favs
I have a love/hate relationship with the fact that the week feels so long until it's Friday and then it seems to have been last Friday just yesterday. But it's still worth celebrating!
1. T-Payne
Trevor was supposed to get to Harrisonburg around 4 this afternoon and I was excited to spend the weekend with him but on the 5th attempt, I finally stopped dreaming that someone was calling me and woke up at 6:32 AM to Trevor's calling me. To be honest, I did answer the phone with a soft and sleepy, "Why are you calling me at 6:30 AM?" which Trevor responded with, I'm 30 minutes away. Trevor was already awake for work but has been battling cold for a few days now and decided a day of manual labor on a datacenter wasn't the best for his health today so he drove to Harrisonburg to spend his day sleeping and healing in my bed while I spend the day in classes. Not fair, I know but either way it was a nice surprise even if it did take away a little bit of my beauty sleep.
2. It's Getting Crisp this Fall
It seems overnight JMU has transformed from summer into autumn, both temperature and beauty wise. It is now the perfect temperature of autumn cool because it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket (Ms. Congeniality, am I right?). Although the quad is still very green from the always present sprinklers (which is why my picture below looks as if it is mid-spring or summer), on my walk from History to the study room where I am now sitting awaiting my next class, I noticed red and orange leaves covering the ground which just reassures me of what I already thought, fall is here. Also, it's October, so that's a plus, and a big shoutout goes to the girl in my picture who made me chuckle as she sprint/walked to class.
3. Pinterest Dinner Party
My roommate Tasia had the best idea yesterday, that Friday night should be Pinterest Finger Foods night for dinner. I'm not sure of exactly everything on our menu for tonight but I know that my contribution is going to be Caramel Apple Nachos (yummy I know) made with the apples from when I went apple picking the other day. I'm never been so excited for a meal in my life! Okay, probably not true because I'm excited for every meal.
4. Big/Little Reveal
This upcoming Thursday is Big/Little Reveal which means I will be creating baskets for my future little (I know who she is but she doesn't who I am yet) that will be delivered by older members this Sunday-Thursday. Pretty exciting because I obviously can't wait to be a big. Little, aren't you excited to join this shambly family?
5. Bloom Where You Are Planted
Since I have such a green thumb (*insert sarcasm*), I am thoroughly excited that my birthday flowers from Trevor are blooming like crazy and radiating beauty, and pollen, throughout my room.
What are you excited for this Friday?
Love ya mean it,
Bailey

She Strikes Again
I haven't had a week this busy in a long time, and I can barely think straight considering I'm working 4 days this week as well as trying to throw in a celebration for my birthday that was this past Monday. So another trip to the Starbucks that I work at was in order today which isn't unusual for a busy and draining week. Today I was feeling a Caramel Apple Spice (one of my absolute favorites that totally tastes like Christmas in a cup) but I could only get a tall because it's too sweet to get any size bigger. And again I found myself giving my order to my co-worker, who this time recognized me and asked me if I was working today. Feeling relieved that I've finally made a lasting impression. But as I got my cup, I noticed my name did not appear on the cup as it appears on my name tag every day that I work. Couldn't help but laugh and realize that making baby steps is what's important in this case.
Love ya mean it,
Bailey
