I've been having an abundance of technological problems and other than my phone the main one has been the fact that my internet barely works but on the bright side, it's Friday and absolutely beautiful outside! Because it's amazing outside, some spring time Friday favorites are in order!
1. Homemade Toms Sandals
Y'all know I love my crafting and so when I came across a pin on Pinterest for making your own Toms sandals, I fished my old pair out from the back of my closet and decided to cut them up. Mine are navy and look very similar to the picture below because I did my best to follow the picture but you can do whatever pattern you want! They have sort of a rugged look that could be paired with a pair of jeans and cute t-shirt!
2. Mother's Day
This chica loves her mama and when I came across this fun card, I couldn't help but laugh. I made this for my mom and she enjoyed a laugh with me. My mom received two beautiful Alex and Ani bracelets for Mother's Day, the first of her upcoming collection. I saw her eyeing them over winter break and they were a perfect gift for her special day! We got her the one that has a "L" on it for Lisa of course and one with a sapphire since my brother Sam and my birthdays are both in September!
3. 4th of July
The 4th is my absolute favorite holiday because I'm mildly obsessed with this beautiful country I'm lucky enough to live in. I'm always looking for clothing that has to do with America because you can always add a little USA to an outfit. When I found these shorts at American Eagle I had to get them because I love the rugged look of pockets that hang out the bottom and my American Flag shorts from last year are wearing out. Go grab yourself a pair and you'll be prepared for Independence Day!
4. Blake
I'm obsessed with Gossip Girl and Blake Lively because she's flawless but she's out done herself which I didn't even think was possible. She's absolutely stunning in this picture and I keep seeing them on my Twitter timeline (follow me at @baileyisgood) and I just can't help but swoon over her beauty. I don't think anyone can honestly say she's not attractive.
5. Southern Pride
Another thing I'm proud of is being from the South because the South is sweeter than anything. I have pride from where I'm from in general including American Pride (as you already read), Southern Pride, Virginia Pride, and even pride for my hometown. This time I'm showing off my pride for the best state ever: Virginia of course. Virginia is for lovers which is probably why I love it so much and so of course I purchased this shirt from Bourbon and Boots. I originally found the site and shirt on Pinterest and I 100% recommend checking this site out because it is amazing!
